REIN Rescue is a Not For Profit Organisation existing to support the needs of horses.
REIN Rescue's purpose is to take in sales horses who are unwanted, neglected and potentially going to the slaughterhouse as well as private surrenders.
We provide rescued horses with medical support, rehabilitation, foster care, and adoption when they are ready.
We also donate gear as well as providing helpful advice and useful resources.
REIN Rescue takes pride in the care of all horses. As soon as they are on our sites the horses are vet checked and provided with medications as required. They are fed by our foster carers and handled carefully. Each horses is care for according to their needs so that they are able to regain lost weight and health.
Once the horses are up to date and ready to be adopted the foster carer has the first option to take on the horse for life. If this is not possible we will then place the horses' details on the Horses page for adoption.
Potential adopters are sent a questionnaire. If it is agreed the adoption can take place, an adoption contract follows. Once this been approved by the administration team the horse is organised to go to their new forever home.
REIN Rescue will stay in contact with the adopter to continue to offer help and services if need be. We never forget about the lives we save - they are forever joined in the REIN family.
